Merriment and Mirth

on Dec 21, 2017

Few are fortunate enough to spend the Festive Season in the heart of the African bush. This special holiday season is celebrated with great joy at Sabi Sabi! Our guests can expect a memorable time with family and friends, filled with cheer, excitement and indulgence.

Being proudly South African, Sabi Sabi once again has a multitude of festive delights in store for our guests over this time.  Freshly baked gingerbread cookies and milk, home-style culinary fare, glasses raised filled with cheerful bubbles and all manner of a feast will adorn tables across our four 5-star lodges.  Of course, our younger guests will be treated equally with delicious treats, and some of our lodges are even planning a dessert bar made up entirely of chocolate...well, perhaps not just for the young!

Surprise safari stops in the bush, gifts and our magnificent dinners under the majestic night sky are on the menu too.

Whilst the bushveld at Sabi Sabi creates a special atmosphere from the moment one arrives, there is always an elevated ambience with our staff making the most of the festive season and sharing this with our guests, who can look forward to our world-renowned South African hospitality from all our lodges....enjoying the cool waters of the swimming pools during the hot summer days, or reclining around the lodge environs watching the timeless beauty of nature’s inhabitants.

New Year’s celebrations at all lodges will involve specially prepared festive menus and abundant bubbly to delight guests as they welcome 2018.

Wishing you and yours – however you celebrate the festive season – a joyous time of togetherness, of peace and of good cheer.  And as we wind down to the last part of 2017, we hope that this year has treated you well and that the coming year will be a year of possibility, of opportunity and one filled with hope.
