Monochrome Monday #68

on Apr 11, 2016

You don’t take a photograph, you make it - Ansel Adams

Taking my next few days slow, trying to see what it was like in 1888 when the first camera was for sale and shooting in Black and White (Monochrome).

It’s been a busy two days as sightings have been amazing! This gave me time to think of every shot I took and how that what I’m looking at would reflect in black and white.

It’s like the detail of some animals are so much more visible in Monochrome than in colour.

Now it’s not just about holding down your finger and hoping you get the best photo, but actually living yourself into what it was like pressing a shutter and having to wait a few seconds before that picture was taken and waiting days before you even knew what you got.

So here are a few photos of my new adventure...

Looking forward to showing you what I have planned next.
