easter at the elefun centre

We started our day off with an Easter clue game, where each child picked either a bunny or a chicken from a hat. This determined what team they were in. Chickens Vs Bunnies! Each team faced the challenge of finding the hidden clues that were spread out all around the EleFun Centre at Bush Lodge. With each clue found, they would receive an egg for their team which they would then share out once all clues were found.
We did a couple craft activities, followed with marshmallow egg decorating with icing sugar and sweets. You can only imagine the sugar rush caused by this!!
We then had no choice but to have a challenging, yet exciting game of soccer. Bunnies beat the Chickens by far.
We ended off our day with handprints and a colouring in competition – the winner was randomly selected and got to take home a golden egg. Everyone had a BLAST!

Today, we started on a very early sweet morning. Each child made and painted their own egg holder and painted an egg with fool colouring. They were amazed that they could eat the egg even after it was painted.
We then got into our teams to enjoy some “boeresport” outside, Bunnies Vs Chickens! Our first race was a sack race, bunnies were in the lead with this one.
It wasn’t long before the Chickens caught up in the egg and spoon race followed by a game of “shoot the ball in the bunny’s mouth.” The Chicken team loved this one!
All this determination in the hot sun was cooled off by some water gun fun as well as a slip and slide.
All the guest children are so excited for the next activity and are all getting along beautifully!
Great to share the love of Easter with everyone!
