A Week in the Bush Vol. 158

on Jun 07, 2017

Another week has come and gone and we are well into winter with early morning and evening temperatures dropping drastically out on safari, but this brought with it some amazing sightings of all species out here trying to warm up in the first of the sun’s rays. We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of “A Week in the Bush”.

New to our reserve, the Tsalala young males were seen over the weekend. These are three young males who were located in the north-eastern part of our reserve.

Then in the southern section of our reserve, the Southern Pride have been seen regularly and all seem happy and content having enjoyed some small meals of sorts. The cubs continue to amuse guides and guests alike as they go about their fun and games with one another.

Little Bush and her cub have been prominent this week with them enjoying some good meals!

We had a wonderful interaction between Maxabeni and his daughter, the Little Bush Cub, while her mother was off hunting.

Maxabeni stopped for a drink of water before moving off and making a successful warthog kill.

We followed up on some Francolins alarm calling and found White Dam male moving on top of some rocks where he was watching a herd of impalas which he began to hunt.

Hlarulini was seen slowly moving close to the Southern boundary of our Northern property, a face we haven't seen in a while.

Xovonekela was found exiting the Southern property of Lisbon back into his own territory.

General sightings have been fantastic again this week. Below are some of our favourites...

Until next time...
