sabi sabi teams up with green and associates
1st December 2009
Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is pleased to announce the appointment of Warren Green & Associates as its representative in the United States and Canada, with immediate effect. The newly-formed marketing company, headed by South African-born Warren Green, will be focusing on assisting sustainable ecotourism destinations to gain greater recognition in the North American travel market.
The move, says Sabi Sabi marketing director, Jacques Smit, is an extension of the long standing relationship between Sabi Sabi and Warren. Our association with him extends from his many years of working as a conservation officer. guide and manager at our lodges in South Africa, to his representation of Sabi Sabi for the nine years since he moved to the United States.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Warren Green in his new venture. There are many synergies connecting us: from Warren's in-depth knowledge of the South African bushveld and his extensive experience at our lodges, to his exemplary track record in America," says Smit. "Warren will be dedicating a significant portion of his time to servicing our valued clients. His company's focus on green initiatives and sustainable ecotourism destinations is an ideal match for the Sabi Sabi philosophy of offering a safari experience that is both luxurious and responsible. We have a recognized, award-winning conservation programme, have been honoured with numerous awards for 5-Star excellence (including Travel & Leisure's 3rd Best Hotel in the World-2009) and were the first game lodge in South Africa to receive a Fair Trade in Tourism accreditation from the World Conservation Union (IUCN).
"We would like to thank Kartagener & Associates, and in particular Henry Kartagener, for their support over the past few years, and wish them well in the future."
