I cannot say enough about Sabi Sabi. Delightful staff, unbelievable sightings and a great Afrikaner guide named Arthur who is a former professional rugby player. Solomon was our tracker and they spoke together in the native language.

They showed us how to interpret the tracks and notice the signs of animal movement. The Lowveld is a story book waiting to be read.

We saw the Big Five many times over and many specials moments like tracking rhino on foot (with Arthur's 378mm rifle...), sitting in our Land Rover amongst a pride of lion, two leopard cubs under the watchful eye of mom, a herd of about 300-400 buffalo, etc.

I do not think you can find any better in the Kruger area. The food was superb. Trevor was our waiter and actually became a good friend.

Lodging in the wild was still very comfortable with a private jacuzzi and an open bar in the room!

A carafe of sherry next to our bed.... We even saw a leopard after a kill right in front of us on our patio.
