selati was the highlight of our trip
We have just returned to Canada from a month in South Africa and, of course, the highlight of our trip was our time at Selati Camp. It goes without saying that the opportunity to see such magnificant animals in their own world was an awesome experience, and Selati was a perfect base for us.
I'm writing in particular to praise the excellent staff who did such good work to make our stay there so comfortable and informative. Hugo was a very welcoming and professional host and kept everything running without a hitch, and he has a very good team.
Ephraim at meals and Lucy at first breakfast and tea (and the barman whose name I unfortunately forget) were so kind and helpful they made all our gatherings completely pleasant.
The stars (apart from the leopard and her baby) were KG and Zeb. Zeb is wonderfully warm and keen-eyed and has a very reassuring presence. KG is remarkable in so many ways. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and a first-rate teacher so that we were able to have such a rich and informative experience. He is bright and funny and a superb group facilitator, which enabled our diverse group to connect with one another. I cannot praise him enough and I hope your organisation does everything you can to support this very gifted man.
So, thank you to all.
