selati far exceeded our expectations
My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to
It is usually the case that, as a customer, I would only bother to get in touch in the event of something having gone wrong, but I was so impressed by the quality of the accommodation and the unfailing hospitality of your staff that I feel compelled to write and comment. All of the staff at Selati were friendly, polite and helpful, but a couple of individuals are particularly worthy of mention. The lodge manager, Carol, made us feel so welcome, and so special; she gave us the impression of being genuinely interested and involved in our day – no mean feat considering how many gushing tourists she must have met in her time! Her kindness and warmth were outstanding, and I am sure our experience was all the better for her presence.
However, I have to say that what made our stay one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives, was having Lisa assigned as our ranger. Her infectious laughter, enthusiasm, determination and persistence were unbelievable, and her encyclopaedic knowledge of everything from buffalo poo to the Northern Cross was staggering. I have no doubt that we would have enjoyed ourselves at Selati regardless of our assigned ranger, but we felt that Lisa went well beyond the call of duty to make us believe that we were truly valued guests. You should be very proud to have an employee of this calibre.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. We hope to return some day.
