Smoked mozzarella salad with avocado, tomato fillets and fresh basil


Arrange the cos & butter lettuce in a pasta bowl. Place the tomato fillets on the lettuce, followed by the smoked mozzarella cheese & avocado puree. Combine one tablespoon of the basil pesto with the olive oil & drizzle over the arranged salad. Finally, garnish the salad using the toasted baguette slice brushed with the remaining tablespoon of basil pesto.

  • 5 Butter lettuce leaves washed and dried
  • 5 Cos lettuce leaves washed and dried
  • 2 Tablespoon basil pesto
  • 2 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons avocado puree
  • 150g Smoked mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 1 Tomato quartered and filleted
  • 1 Slice of baguette toasted
